This past weekend, aviation enthusiasts converged at the annual AOPA Buckeye Fly-In at Buckeye Municipal Airport, where over 30,000 attendees celebrated the spirit of general aviation.

Erik McCormick and Julia Mowry with Aviation Real Estate Specialists and Aviation Home and Hangar hosted an impactful booth at the event, where they shared their passion for aviation real estate and the promise of innovative airpark living. The 10-foot walls featured custom posters creating an impressive sight, drawing visitors in with vibrant displays that showcased aviation properties and airparks across the globe. This year, they featured three promising airpark development projects along side their representatives.

Western Sky Airpark in Salome

Bill, the representative for Western Sky Airpark, outlined an ambitious project designed to redefine hangar home living. The development features a 60 × 80‑foot hangar paired with a 1,600‑square‑foot home with three bedrooms and two baths. With a target price under $500K, this project promises a modern and affordable lifestyle for pilots and aviation enthusiasts.

Skyland Airpark in Alaska

Stewart, representing Skyland Airpark, brought a dynamic vision from Alaska. He explained how the project balances the rugged allure of the Alaskan landscape with the comforts of community living. Skyland Airpark is set to offer an adventurous yet practical solution for those looking to embrace a lifestyle that’s both remote and connected.

Belize Air Ranch

Jim, from Belize Air Ranch, showcased this trailblazing development—the first residential airpark with hangar homes in Belize. Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Mayan Mountains, Belize Air Ranch combines tropical charm with modern aviation amenities, offering a unique opportunity for pilots to live and fly in one of the world’s most stunning settings.

Shaping the Future of Airparks

Erik and Julia with Bill, Stewart, and Jim, confidently presented these projects as transformative solutions for aviation real estate. Their booth was not only informative but also a clear demonstration of how innovative design and strategic vision are reshaping what it means to live the aviation lifestyle.
